Chapter Two

A Sobering Recollection

A few days passed and life went on as usual. Until one afternoon as Amanda was chopping vegetables for a salad, the phone rang. The screen on the phone lit up, it was Tasha.

“Hey, Tasha, what’s up?” Amanda said, pressing the phone to her ear with her shoulder so she could continue working on lunch.

“He’s in.” She said.

“What? Who’s in? What are you talking about?” Amanda asked while rinsing the knife off in the sink.

“Ty. He’s in. He said he’s fine with it if Daniel is.”

Amanda put the knife on the counter, suddenly realizing she needed to turn her full attention to the conversation. Still, she was clueless as to what Tasha was talking about and the two sat in silence for a long moment until Amanda asked, “What are you talking about, Tasha?”

“Oh, come on. Don’t tell me you didn’t have the balls to ask Daniel! This was your idea.”

“Tasha, you are going to have to start making sense sometime soon.”

“Don’t tell me you forgot about our little talk on girl’s night!”

Then, suddenly, it all came flooding back. She had forgotten all about it, but now she remembered her admission and the talk about their husband’s cocks and swapping.

“Hello. You still there?” Tasha asked in response to the silence on the other end of the line.

“I can’t believe you asked Ty! Oh my god, Tasha! What the hell were you thinking? We were just talking. You can’t think that was serious. We were just joking around!” Amanda spat out in a fiery stream that came almost too fast for Tasha to follow.

“I wasn’t.” Tasha said, flatly. She let the admission hang in the air for a few seconds, imagining the look on Amanda’s face. “And I told you Ty was gonna jump at a chance at those big white titties of yours. Plus if Daniel is anything like I think, he won’t be able to pass up a chance at this big black ass.” Tasha slapped her ass hard enough that the sound would carry through the phone. “We are Team T& A, y’know.”

Silence filled the call again. Amanda found herself needing to take a seat. She pulled back one of the kitchen chairs and fell into it.

“Hello? Amanda? You still there?”

“I’ll ask him.”
